About Me.

Hi! I’m Kathy Sarkisian, founder of Sarkisian Pelvic Health & Wellness.

I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy (PT) from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in 2018, which is consistently ranked as a top 5 PT program in the country. Upon completion of my doctorate, I went on to complete hundreds of hours of continuing education in the realm of pelvic health, orthopedics, and perinatal care. I currently hold my Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Health Physical Therapy (CAPP-Pelvic) which was awarded by the American Physical Therapy Association’s section for Pelvic Health. The CAPP-Pelvic is awarded to licensed Physical Therapists who complete a series of comprehensive evidence-based education courses, written and clinical testing at each level, and a written case report which is rigorously reviewed by the CAPP Case Reflection Committee. Currently, there are only 587 licensed PTs who hold this designation.

Originally hailing from northwest Indiana, I relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2021. Outside of my practice, you'll often find me baking bread, gardening, and doing barre classes. My downtime is also filled with the delightful chaos of family life—I cherish every moment spent with my two energetic young boys and our beloved Newfoundland doodle, Nana.

Cheers to health & wellness for your pelvis!
